The past eight months here at Camp Vandemere have proven to be both awesome and devastating! During the summer camps of 2011, there were 48 first-time decisions for Christ! We had 10 weeks of summer camps that were filled with fun, fellowship, and worship! There were also over 75 rededications. Near the end of our summer camps, we held our first annual “Summer Fun Fest,” which was a huge success! Over 200 people attended. We had hosted weekend retreats continuously since March and were booked every weekend through Thanksgiving!

It’s May and nearly half the year is already gone! As of April 1, we’ve had eight weekend events so far this year!

Awesome, just awesome! That’s how I describe my God! He has blessed this ministry again and again. We have a full schedule for the year. That is a blessing in itself.

Hello from the camp! Who would have ever thought we would have three significant snows here this year. It has proven to be a very unusual winter. Two times, it snowed over 6” and has been extremely cold (and quiet) for what seems like forever. We had our first weekend retreat of the year on the last weekend in January.

Greetings from Camp Vandemere! It has certainly been a cold winter and will probably continue for a while longer. We’ve had measurable snow twice this year! Of course, with it being so cold outside, most everyone stays inside where it’s warm.

Another year has come and gone. This past year at the camp has truly been a blessing! With the year coming to an end, Camp Vandemere has been host to over 3,000 visitors. Wow, that’s just awesome!
