What do you think of when you hear the word “missions”? The thoughts of most people turn to foreign fields such as the Philippines. Foreign missions was what I thought of, too, as a senior in high school. I enrolled in Mount Olive College with the intent of going into foreign missions. But, God had other plans.

After graduating from Mount Olive College, I got married and moved to the Triad region of the State, thinking that my desire to do mission work would never come to pass. Little did I know how wrong I was.
