A Razzle Dazzle Extravaganza was held on Saturday, October 29, 2011, as a fundraiser for our Woman’s Auxiliary. We started selling breakfast items at 8 a.m., hotdogs at lunch, and a bake sale throughout the day. Some of our wonderful cooks prepared and cooked individual apple pies, sweet potato pies, and banana tortillas. The smell, as well as the taste, was a sure sell out as soon as they took them out of the pan.
We had vendors renting space as a part of our fundraiser. The vendors sold pottery, handmade jewelry, crafts, wreaths, hand painted ornaments, and the auxiliary sold items we sell throughout the year.
It was a successful day for our auxiliary and a wonderful time of fellowship. We raised approximately $1,700 to use for our home and foreign missions projects.
We are so blessed and our community really came together for a successful day to help us achieve our auxiliary goals. Thanks to everyone who helped, shopped, volunteered, etc.
