MANILA, PHILIPPINES

“Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:14).

On May 2–7, 2011, we conducted Vacation Bible School.  Although we had no fund for this program, God is great and provided all we needed for these activities. I am especially thankful to Sister Yolly Panique, Sister Mhel Sause, and Nanay Carmen, they assisted in the VBS by preparing food for the children. Brother Ralph managed the sound system, while Brother Dexter, the eldest son of Brother Ralph helped us in making our ribbons and certificates. Some members contributed through giving food for the week. We were full of joy by doing this ministry. The children were exciting and joyful as they participated in the daily activities. We had 35 students who participated in our first VBS, in this new location that has more space. We are praying that in the coming year, our enrollees will increase even more.

Please pray for this program, that we can share with the children the importance of God’s Word and lead them to faith in Christ while their hearts are young and tender. God bless us all, to God be the glory!
