Woman's Auxiliary Convention of OFWB

On Saturday, January 21, sixty-six woman’s auxiliary convention, district and local officers met in the Raper Building at Mount Olive College.

September 4 was Woman’s Auxiliary Sunday at Northeast Church in Mount Olive. Members of the Auxiliary conducted the morning service and filled the choir. The anthem they chose was The Way of the Cross Leads Home, the theme song for 2011.

In Ruth 1, Ruth chose the road to the unknown, chose the God Naomi worshipped, and did not turn back. She was “steadfastly minded” to go with Naomi obeying her instructions and sacrificing for Naomi’s good.

The leadership in the pulpit at First Free Will Baptist Church of Greenville was quite different during the worship service on Sunday, June 26, 2011.

The Life Membership Award program was begun by the North Carolina Woman’s Auxiliary in the 1950s and is to honor outstanding members who exemplify the following traits: She must be an active OFWB member and active member of the Woman’s Auxilia

The Annual Day Spring Woman’s Auxiliary Retreat was held at Cragmont from June 8–11. There were 22 people registered for the conference.

This was the topic of the Woman’s Auxiliary’s April program from the Auxiliary’s Devotion book, “Journey to Bethany.”

The annual Morning Star Retreat was held from April 29–May 1. There were 73 women registered from 12 churches across the state. Kathy Hayes from Daniels Chapel was the speaker for the weekend.
